On July 17, news broke that one of Britain’s largest networks of specialist skin care clinics, sk:n, unexpectedly ceased trading on Tuesday evening, July 16. This has left over 450 beauty professionals (some reports say upwards of 800) from over 70 branches across England and Scotland suddenly unemployed.
